Risk Mitigation

Early warning system identifying defects and process issues. Strict protocols turn risk management into competitive advantage.

Our Process

Inspection & Quality Control
Services

Four rigorous stages to ensure your products meet the highest standards before they reach your customers.

01

Factory Selection & Audit

Deep-dive analysis of manufacturing capabilities, production capacity verification, and ethical standards compliance. We examine technological infrastructure, workforce skills, labor conditions, and environmental practices.

  • Confirm fabric weight, colorfastness, and shrinkage capabilities match your spec sheet before a single order is placed
  • Screen chemical additives against REACH and California Prop 65 limits during raw-material sourcing
  • Verify the electronic BOM (bill of materials) against your approved component list for any electronics in the run
02

Pre-Production Inspection

Initial sample review with advanced measurement technologies, systematic specification conformity checks, and comprehensive material quality assessment using spectroscopy and durability testing.

  • Demand a pre-production sample pulled from the real production line — never a handmade one
  • Seal and sign the golden sample as the contractual benchmark for every bulk unit
  • Verify color accuracy, print adhesion, and dimensions against the approved sample before mass production starts
03

During Production Inspection

Statistical random sampling checks without disrupting production flow, plus consistency verification across all production batches using advanced tracking technologies.

  • Inspect inline at the 30% and 80% completion nodes against the sealed golden sample
  • Capture time-stamped photo and video evidence at every checkpoint for your review
  • Catch defect clusters early — a pattern found at 30% is fixed before 5,000 units repeat it
04

Pre-Shipment Inspection

100% quality check covering dimensional accuracy (CMM, laser scanning), packaging integrity, and precise quantity verification to prevent shipping discrepancies.

  • Run an AQL 2.5 final batch audit by default, with AQL 4.0 available for projects that do not require the stricter level
  • Sample against ISO 2859 / ANSI ASQ Z1.4 tables — for a 1,200-unit order we inspect 80 random pieces
  • Ship the batch only when defects are within the acceptance limit; rework or reject the rest
AQL Explained

AQL 2.5, AQL 4.0 &
the Math Behind Sampling

How we decide what passes and what ships — based on the ISO 2859 / ANSI ASQ Z1.4 sampling tables.

Default Standard

AQL 2.5

Acceptable Quality Level 2.5 caps the defect rate at 2.5% per batch — the global apparel and consumer-goods benchmark for promotional production.

  • Maximum 2.5% defect rate per batch
  • Our default for all branded merchandise
  • Expected when QC is contractually required
Optional Level

AQL 4.0

A more permissive acceptance level from the same ISO 2859 / ANSI ASQ Z1.4 tables, used when the project does not demand the tighter 2.5 limit.

  • Looser defect tolerance than 2.5
  • ISO 2859 / ANSI ASQ Z1.4 based
  • Choose only when spec allows
How It Works

Sampling Math

Every batch is statistically sampled, not 100% checked. For a 1,200-unit order we inspect 80 random pieces; 5 or fewer defects ships, 6 or more triggers rework or rejection.

  • 1,200-unit order → 80 pieces inspected
  • ≤5 defects found → batch ships
  • ≥6 defects → full batch reworked or rejected
Production Timeline

A Transparent Production Clock
from Brief to Bulk

Each stage carries its expected duration, the delay risks to watch for, and the rush path available when your date is fixed. Built from our standard apparel and promotional-product lead times.

01

Order Confirmation & Spec Lock

1–3 days

Specifications, artwork, materials, and tolerances are frozen into the contract so production has one source of truth from day one.

  • Artwork approval delays stall the whole schedule
Lock artwork within 24 hours to protect the critical path.
02

Incoming Material Inspection

2–4 days

Raw materials are checked on arrival — fabric weight, colorfastness, shrinkage, chemical compliance, and BOM verification before cutting starts.

  • Off-spec material fabric weight or color drift discovered late
03

Pre-Production Sample

5–15 days

A physical sample is pulled from the real production line and sealed as the golden sample — the benchmark every bulk unit is checked against.

  • Golden sample fade handcrafted sample vs. bulk speed differs
Expedite the sample loop with express courier.
04

Bulk Production + 30/80% Inline Checks

25–40 days

Bulk manufacturing runs with inline inspections at the 30% and 80% completion nodes, backed by time-stamped photo evidence.

  • Line slot compression peak season pushes small runs behind 50,000-unit orders
Rush production available at 15–20 days for qualified orders.
05

AQL 2.5 Final Inspection

1–3 days

A final pre-shipment batch audit samples against ISO 2859 / ANSI ASQ Z1.4 — only passing batches are loaded into the container.

  • Failed batch 6+ defects forces rework or rejection
06

Consolidation + DDP Shipping

5–12 days

Finished goods are consolidated, kitted where needed, and shipped door-to-door with DDP terms and full customs documentation.

  • Peak-season freight sea space tightens and rates climb
Air freight cuts transit to 5–9 days door-to-door.

FAQ

Quality Control Questions, Answered

AQL 2.5 means a maximum 2.5% defect rate per batch — the global apparel industry benchmark. We sample against ISO 2859 / ANSI ASQ Z1.4 tables: for a 1,200-unit order, we inspect 80 random pieces. If 5 or fewer defects are found, the batch ships. If 6 or more, the entire batch is reworked or rejected.

This is known as the "Golden Sample Fade" — pre-production samples are handcrafted by senior technicians while bulk runs at commercial speed. We prevent it by sealing a signed golden sample as the contractual benchmark, performing inline inspections at 30% and 80% completion against that sample, and conducting a pre-shipment AQL 2.5 inspection with photo evidence.

A failed batch never ships. When defects exceed the acceptance limit, the batch is reworked or rejected outright. Our inspectors flag the pattern early — defects caught at the 30% inline node are fixed before thousands of units repeat the issue, which is why failed pre-shipment audits are rare.

We screen raw materials and finished goods against the standards for your destination market: REACH for EU shipments, California Prop 65 and CPSIA for US markets, and RoHS for electronics. High-risk categories — electronics, children's goods, and food-contact items — get chemical screening before production, not after.

Yes. Every partner facility operates under independently audited international standards — ISO 9001 for quality management, ISO 14001 for environmental management, ISO 45001 for occupational health and safety, plus BSCI and Sedex / SMETA social-compliance audits. All certifications are renewed annually and verified by accredited third-party bodies.

Absolutely. Our inspectors capture time-stamped photo and video evidence at every checkpoint — material incoming, 30% and 80% inline nodes, and the final AQL 2.5 pre-shipment audit. You receive real-time reporting and the full evidence trail with the final inspection report.
